Is lil babel free?

Yes. Every word, with its explanation, drawing, map and pronunciation, is free to read, and so is the 3:4 share card. An optional one-time purchase unlocks saved words, recently viewed words, Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets, more share styles and the dark app icon.

How do I restore my purchase?

Open Settings in the app and tap Restore Purchases, signed in with the same Apple Account you used to buy.

Why does my widget ask me to unlock?

Widgets are part of the unlock. You can add one at any time; until you unlock, it shows the tower and an invitation instead of the daily word. Widgets follow the reading language you choose in the app, and their light or dark look is set in Settings.

Why can't some words be pronounced?

Pronunciation uses voices built into iOS. If the source language is uncertain or your device has no voice for it, the play button is turned off.

Found a mistake?

If a meaning, spelling or pronunciation looks wrong, please email us with the word. We read every message.

How do I remove my data?

Everything stays on your iPhone. Clear recently viewed words in the app, or delete the app to remove all saved data.
